You retain ownership of User Content to the extent you own the relevant rights. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights, permissions, and legal basis necessary to submit and share it.

By submitting User Content, you grant Expat Mall a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, format, distribute, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, maintain, promote, and improve the Platform and the features through which you submitted it. This license lasts for as long as necessary for those purposes, subject to applicable law, your rights, and any applicable agreements.

Where technically and operationally practicable, the license for content you delete will end when the content is removed from active public display, except to the extent continued use or retention is necessary for backups, legal compliance, dispute resolution, security, or other lawful purposes. Copies independently retained by other users or third parties may not be removable by Expat Mall.

You represent that your User Content does not knowingly infringe another person's rights, violate applicable law, or breach an obligation you owe to another party.

We do not claim ownership of your User Content merely because you submit it. You should not upload confidential or sensitive information unless the relevant feature is designed for that purpose and you are authorized to provide it.

7. Community, Groups, and Messaging

You are responsible for your interactions with other users. Expat Mall does not guarantee the identity, intentions, conduct, qualifications, or reliability of any member.

Unless a feature expressly provides otherwise, you should not assume that communications are legally privileged, guaranteed confidential, or immune from being copied, forwarded, captured, or disclosed by recipients.

Do not use community or messaging features to harass others, distribute unlawful content, solicit unauthorized personal information, commit fraud, or conduct prohibited activities.

We may investigate reported abuse, moderate content, restrict accounts, or take other reasonable measures to protect the community, subject to applicable law.

8. Marketplace and Third-Party Sellers

Unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific transaction, third-party vendors and service providers are independent parties and are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Expat Mall solely because they use the Platform.

• Maintaining required licenses, permits, registrations, and professional credentials.

Expat Mall may provide tools that facilitate discovery, communication, payments, or transactions. The precise role Expat Mall plays in a transaction depends on the applicable feature and transaction terms.

Unless expressly stated in applicable terms, Expat Mall does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, availability, delivery, or performance of a third-party product or service.

9. Orders, Payments, Fees, and Refunds

Some features may involve purchases, subscription fees, listing fees, booking charges, marketplace commissions, or other charges.

Where Expat Mall charges a fee directly, the applicable checkout page, subscription terms, or separate written agreement will govern the relevant charge.

Where a third-party seller or service provider charges you, that party's applicable transaction terms may govern the sale, subject to applicable law.

15. Intellectual Property
